Conditions of Entry

All entries must be original. Copies of other artists’ work will NOT be accepted.

For photography and prints, you may submit one artwork from a limited edition of 30 or less. The print number must be shown, for example, 1 of 30.

Reproduction prints, e.g. prints of artists' own paintings are not permitted.

Maximum of three entries per artist. The fees to enter are $15 per piece.

All pieces must be for sale and will be displayed at the committee's discretion.

Artwork on paper must be suitably mounted and framed.

Artists social media and website links may be shared in the catalogue and on ART Waikino social media at the discretion of the committee

Bank details are used to pay you if your piece is sold, or should you win a cash prize.

Large sculptures will be installed outside for the duration of the exhibition. Although all care will be taken by the committee, insurance will be the responsibility of the artist. Security of the site overnight should be discussed with the committee.

Drop off and collection

All artworks must be delivered to Waikino Hall (SH2, Waikino) on SATURDAY 19 and SUNDAY 20 OCTOBER 10AM-4PM.

Each entry must have a label attached to the back with the contact details of the artist, the name of the piece and final sale price.

Any packing must be taken away with you or clearly labelled if to be stored on site.

The ART Waikino Committee will supply labels for the front display based on the entry information provided.

Unsold work must be collected SUNDAY, 27 OCTOBER 4PM-6PM or MONDAY, 28 OCTOBER 10AM-12PM.
Sales
-
ART Waikino will take 20% commission from the sale price - this goes towards the Waikino Hall Committee for upkeep of the hall.

All sales must be paid to secure the purchase (no holds).

We endeavour to keep sold pieces on display, however sold pieces may be removed early by special arrangement with an ART Waikino Committee member.

Artists will be notified by an ART Waikino Committee member by text message or email at the end of the day if any piece of theirs sells.

Payments to artists will be processed after the exhibition closes and paid by the 20th of the following month.

All taxation and GST liabilities will be the responsibility of the individual artist.
